If no announcement is made, SDOC will operate on a normal schedule

All schools will open two hours later than normal. Buses will also run two hours later than normal. Morning PIP classes will not meet.

Students will not report to school buildings

Assignments will be posted by 10:00am.  Teachers will be available for office hours from 10:00 to 11:00am and 2:30 to 3:30pm.  Students will have 5 days upon returning to school to turn in assignments.  If assignments are not completed and turned in within those 5 days, the student will be considered absent for the eLearning day.

Practices, games, concerts and/or any other evening activities are cancelled.

There may be times that school needs to be dismissed early due to weather conditions.  In these cases. an announcement will be made as soon as possible through all normal communication methods.  The announcement will include information about dismissal times for elementary, middle and high schools.  In the case of early dismissal, parents can assume that all afternoon and evening activities will be cancelled.
